Germana Cachaca

Classic Caipirinha

Ingredients:

  • 50ml Germana Cachaca
  • 25ml Sugar Syrup/1 heaped tablespoon of castor sugar
  • 1 lime

Cut up lime and muddle in glass with sugar and half of the cachaca, fill glass with crushed ice, add remainder of cachaca and stir to combine. 

The Classic Caipirinha is a great base for a variety of other flavours – simply add your favourite fruit, or flavoured sugar syrup to create a new, delicious signature cocktail. Some of our favourites include a Passionfruit Caipirinha, Strawberry, black pepper & basil Caipirinha and a Cherry Caipirinha… the options are endless!

Cherry Caiprinha

Ingredients:

  • 50ml Germana Cachaca
  • 25ml Sugar Syrup/1 heaped tablespoon of castor sugar
  • 1 lime
  • Handful of de-stemmed & pitted cherries

Cut up lime and muddle with sugar, cherries and half the germana. Fill with crushed ice and add remaining cachaca and stir to combine. 

Batida

Ingredients:

  • 50ml Germana Cachaca
  • 50ml Passionfruit Juice
  • 25ml Simple Sugar Syrup
  • I whole passionfruit (pulp)
  • Mint Leaf

Add all ingredients into a shaker filled with ice, shake and strain into a chilled rocks glass filled with crushed ice. Garnish with mint leaf.

Brazilian Berry

Ingredients:

  • 40 ml Germana Cachaca
  • 50ml White Wine
  • 25ml Blackcurrant liqueur
  • 3 whole raspberries
  • 4 whole blackcurrants
  • Sprig of mint

Fill a chilled rocks glass with crushed ice. Add all ingredients. Garnish with black currant, mint leaf and raspberries.

Melzinho

Ingredients:

  • 75ml Germana Cachaca
  • 15ml (1 heaped tablespoon) of warmed runny honey
  • cinnamon

Shake the Cachaca and honey together vigouresly and pour into 4 shooter glasses, garnish with a sprinkle of cinnamon powder and enjoy

Brazilian Pineapple

Ingredients:

  • 50ml Germana Cachaça
  • 25ml Pineapple juice
  • Splash of lemon juice
  • 15ml simple syrup
  • pineapple wedges

Combine Germana Cachaça, juices and syrup in a cocktail shaker and shake vigorously. Strain into a cocktail glass over crushed ice. Garnish with pineapple wedge.

Ingredients:

  • 50ml Germana Cachaca
  • 20ml Malibu
  • 60ml Fresh Pineapple
  • 60ml Orange Juice
  • 15ml passionfruit Syrup

Add all the ingredients to a shaker, shake hard and strain into a Highball glass filled with ice
